The Park, in its current form, has over 4.5 hectares of land surrounding the enchanting Palace. The Palace Park impresses with its beauty throughout the year - the eastern part is home to the ponds and islands on Pisa whilst the western part is a picturesque part of the valley. Following a specially traced walking path, you can find all the lovely places, admire the astonishing views and find peace whilst associating with the beauty of thoughtfully designed gardens. The cozy gazebos hidden in between the majestic trees and humming waterfalls encourage their guests to enjoy a moment of rest. Noteworthy is the ancient well and a cannon… every corner of the park has its own distinct character.
In the IV competition for the best works in the field of protection of historical gardens, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage presented the park in Galiny with a gold medal for the best restoration carried out in Poland.
Unlimited space, fragrant herbs, picturesque hills and winding canyons surround the blue ponds - conditions to favour a good rest in Masuria. What's more, they create endless opportunities for active contact with nature. The pier and the beach at the biggest pond encourage refreshing swims whilst open spaces tempt guests into horse riding or cycling. Rolling hills are conducive to walking, Nordic walking (summer) and cross-country skiing expeditions (in winter).
A unique feature of the Galiny estate are the stunning, vast landscapes of Mazury. Without leaving the estate grounds you can take a long walk along the "Three Ponds Trail". At first this leads you along the edge of the magical forest of ancient oaks, then through undulating meadows to finally reach the wonderfully tranquil ponds and connecting them flux*. In the summer we will be accompanied by cranes and other rare birds, whilst in winter we will meet skittish deer and hares. Thanks to the estate’s affinity with nature, the cycle of the seasons determines any change in the landscapes, wildlife and possibilities here. Galiny lives are filled with activity, both work and play, throughout the year, in harmony with the surroundings.
